Dear Parents and Caregivers,
The NSW Department of Education continues to be in discussions with NSW Health regarding the current spread of the COVID- 19 Virus. NSW Health is currently very concerned about the growing number of COVID -19 cases, particularly in South West Sydney.
Schools in South Western Sydney will be learning from home in Week 1 of Term 3. Because of the increased number of cases in this area, we ask that you keep your children at home unless it is absolutely essential for them to attend school.
Students must not attend school if they have any symptoms of COVID-19 at all, and must immediately get tested and isolate. There are many testing clinics in your local area which can be found here.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include:
·fever (37.5 degrees Celsius or higher)
·cough
·sore throat
·shortness of breath (difficulty breathing)
·runny nose
·loss of taste
·loss of smell
We thank you for your cooperation during this challenging time for our school and wider community. We will continue to be in regular contact to provide information and updates.
